All good holidays have to come to an end .... After an awesome holiday in SA, it was back to the UK. Life is never dull here, apart from the weather at times, however surrounded by your friends and family you soon forget about it.

The Wedding of the Year ....
Wow what an amazing day. We had an fantastic time. The venue was incredible and all the hard work over the past year by Jose and Gill it looked awesome.
Yes in true style I did shed a few tears during the different parts of the day. I got to witness Gilly having her first Tequila .... Jose, Sarah and Stu Groom river dancing .... some very fond memories of a very special day.

My long awaited holiday arrived, a fleeting visit to Cape Town, quality time with some very special friends, time with the Pryde relatives, some who I haven't seen in about 20 years ... the "My you've Grown" comments were flying about. It was good to see them all again. The back to Durbs, Kath & Sarah had arranged a surprise "My Fairlady" luncheon for Jose, as her South African Hen Party. The time had finally arrived for The Pryde's to host The Christmas Day festivities at Sakabula, it was a great day however with some special family members absent. A few weddings, Hen nights and good times catching up with friends and family, saw the remaining few weeks fly by. All in all an amazing holiday at home. It was very difficult to leave.

The theme was set, and as the plans evolved we had two very excited bridesmaids and some even more excited friends... as for the Hen, well she never had a clue. The evening started, with a brilliant rendition of George Michael from Mr Smith, something that will stay with many of us for a long time. We were even so lucky as to have a visit from The Hoff as well. Congrats to all of you who participated in the evenings activity .. some of you looked far to professional for your first attempt! I am really looking forward to the wedding.

It's fatal to meet at 10pm in a queue to a well established watering hole in SW18, the arms twisted to go for one drink down the road ....
Need I say more, just it was a good fun night out with three special friends ...
